Selling your items through Furniture Phases is easy and very productive. You will direct the process and then we will do the work for you. Shoppers come to our store, not to your home. No risk of missed appointments, wasted time with hagglers, security worries or risk of bad checks. Through our established stores, nice showrooms, newspaper ads, internet showroom, and experienced sales people we have developed a large clientele that gets items sold quicker and at higher prices than possible with newspaper ads. |

Delivery and Pickup is available through several independent vendors. There is a nominal fee that is definitely lower than the standard delivery rates. Furniture Phases does not make any money on these delivery fees. The delivery fees are determined by a preset schedule that depends on the distance traveled, how many items there are and other complexities. You will know what the delivery charges are before we show up at your door. We often have customers selling their old furniture and buying new furniture. In this situation it is very cost effective if the two delivery trips can be coordinated to the same time and thus saving in the delivery fees. The delivery person will expect payment at time of delivery. We have found delivery people that are flexible in scheduling appointments that fit your needs. You can feel reassured that the delivery person will be reliable, courteous with you and treat your furniture with respect. ![]() ![]() |

Home decor items have been popular. We have done well at selling pictures, lamps, clocks, mirrors, rugs and other home decor items in perfect condition. It is easy to get these items into our store. These smaller items do not require pre-approval. To start the process, please call us first, and set up a mutually agreeable time to meet in the store. Then bring the items to us and we will go through them to discuss pricing and the potential of selling them. Remember, items need to be in perfect working condition. Items that are not accepted include appliances and personal hygiene items such as towels or sheets. Occassionally we have made exceptions for small ![]() pleasant shopping experience. Furniture Phases is truly large enough to meet all your decorating needs whether large or small! We have the largest combined showrooms in the Fox Valley and are constantly striving to keep them stocked with unique, desirable items. appliances such as TVs or stereos. An exciting addition to our store has been Tammy, our in house floral designer. She has many of her arrangements displayed throughout our store and all are reasonably priced. She also designs beautiful seasonal floral arrangements. Currently on display include centerpieces, and wall hanging pieces of different sizes using silk flowers. ![]() Appraisals are an important part of the process. This service is provided for free, however the benefits to you are significant. Scheduling of the appraisal is flexible. We come to your house, view your items, talk pricing strategies and discuss our procedures. The whole concept allows you to meet us and realize our commitment to selling your items while maximizing your dollars and convenience. Selling furniture is not easy. Some of our customers have tried ads and realize the problems involved. Deciding on a price, paying for ads, scheduling viewings and matching buyers with sellers can be frustrating. We make the whole process easy. The furniture market has undergone several changes recently. Strong competition and foreign products have resulted in lower prices. We know which items sell and for how much. There are some items we do not accept. These include pieces with broken or missing hardware. Stained items. Entertainment centers should hold at least a 40” unit. We do accept antiques however our pricing is going to be less than antique stores and if you have a true antique you would do better at a dedicated antique store. Upholstered items need to be clean with little wear, no fading and no odor. Please no pet hair or tears. We do not take waterbeds.

The business has been constantly growing and with our dedicated employees Marcia plans on continuing this business for many years. Several of Marcia’s employees have been in the furniture business for years offering in depth experience. Several of the employees have worked as interior designers which can help in your furniture selections and accessorizing. While staying true to our consignment store beginnings we also offer some new furniture. The new furniture offerings are reasonable cost items supplementing our used inventory.
